Works to Foxhall Road to widen the highway to the entrance of the Recycling Centre will commence on 18 September and are anticipated to be complete before Christmas 2023. The road will be closed overnight from 7pm to 7am to minimise disruption to road and site users.

The compassionate companion service is expanding and is now offering free training and ongoing team supervision to volunteers living in communities able to offer an hour a week, but also employees of statutory organisations including care home staff and care agency staff to use in their job role and become compassionate companion champions for their organisation.
